Information You Submit
A message sent through a contact method may include your name, email address, message, and any details you choose to provide. Search terms entered into a third-party search box pass directly to that provider under its own privacy terms. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for your question.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal server and analytics logs may record an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, and the date and time of a visit. Cookies or similar technologies may remember preferences, measure site use, support advertising, or help prevent abuse. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some functions may then work differently.
How Data Is Used
Collected information may be used to operate and secure the site, respond to messages, understand which pages are useful, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, improve content, and deliver or measure advertising. Search-query data handled by a partner may be used according to that partner’s policy.
Links Beyond This Site
Links lead to DCSO SmartCop, court portals, Florida agencies, federal locators, news sites, and other services. Their privacy practices are separate from ours. Review the destination’s policy before submitting a name, identifier, contact detail, or payment information.
When Data May Be Shared
Information may be provided to search partners, hosting and security vendors, analytics services, and advertising networks as needed for their services. It may also be disclosed to law enforcement or another authority when a valid legal order requires it, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and site integrity. We do not claim that a third party follows this policy.
Reasonable Security Measures
Administrative and technical safeguards are used in an effort to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so absolute protection cannot be promised.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is not directed to people under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal data from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or object to certain processing. You can also adjust browser cookie controls. A request may require reasonable identity verification, and a legal exception may limit what can be changed or removed.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site practices, services, or legal duties change. The updated version takes effect when posted. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the new notice.
